A tip of the dipole to Ed, KA3PTX of Delaware, who a few days ago passed his Extra class license and joined us Tuesday evening on 3705Kc to try it out.

Actually, he was trying out a new antenna tuner on his K7DYY Super Senior, and yes, he was a Tall Ship sailing down Chesapeake Bay from his place in Delaware to here.

Looking forward to many hours "down low," Ed, glad you passed.

---

Ed also passed along news that Chuck, W3FJJ is settling on a NEW HOME, soon relocating to Delaware from Conowingo, Maryland after his house was heavily damaged by a falling tree during a storm last year. Chuck if you're reading this let me know if you need any help shooting lines for antennas !  Hope to hear you again soon.

Yes indeed! Pretty sure I've worked PTX before. Will check the log. Congrats to him on the upgrade.

Will look forward to hearing Chuck from the new location, hopefully soon.

Congratulations to ED, KA3PTX, Extra Class, Indeed..   Alot more AM frequencies are now
available!

I decided to relocate and buy a house, instead of rebuilding in Conowingo..
I bought  a house  in Newark Delaware., Not far from where I worked, for 30 years..
Its in a residential neighborhood, with a postage stamp lot,, but does border a park,
so hope to utilize some of those trees

For right now I will  be stringing up a 40m diaper pole, with ladder line.. It will be fun to set up a new Shack. And play with some
radios again.. Move in starts today!

Hope to talk to you guys soon, and C-YA at Timonium, next weekend

Congrats to you Mr. PTX!  I am sure you had zero problems with the exam.  Can't wait to work you down on the "160M portion of the 80 meter band"!

Chuck,
Congrats on the new house.  Hope to see it the next time we go down to visit my daughter in Newark.  It will be great to hear you back on the air.  Those tree's in the park look FB indeed for your new sky hook!
