can someone tell me how to ohm out a mod trans for an rca bta1r kw transmitter,,,they run a pair of 4-400's. and if possible what it should read...Huh thnxs on the tag it says pri 10000/2500 ohms and sec.6750 ohms 1kva... i just need to know how to measure it...

That's impedance on the label....d.c. ohms will be different.

Courtesy my Triplett 630 VOM:

Mod trans:

Primary (total) 117.5 DCR
Secondary 50.5 DCR

60H mod choke:

185 DCR

Sure takes a while to get Mr. Henry out of the way so you can see MR. Ohm....
