All tuned up and ready. I noticed some Am activity on 7185 today. My PW rig tunes there and puts out its best stomp there so i would like try tomorrow morning 830 to 9 am and tomorrow afternoon (2.30 to 4.00. It will be a first hop or less I think as I have only about 14 wats out. I am located in Ontario just across the lake from Rochestor NY on PR Ed Cty. I dont need a long QSO if time is in short supply. A signal report ie DX style contact would be a big help to me.

Thanks to all who listened. I couldnt find a hole except id between exchanges. Will try again tomorrow same times. Wasnt a total wash. While waiting for an opening I finished a project from last year and have it working to my satisfaction. A HB transceiver soley based on a regen circuit. 52 triode. OSc and regen detector  and a 42 tube Pa used for audio amp and Rf . TX to rX with two switches (dpdt). Osc just switches voltage . Pot and phones in for receive and bypassed for tx. The osc works in regen with voltage drop accross these and as an osc with increased voltage without them there. Works perfectly. Anyway til tomorrow on 7285 AM.

I have this rig upstairs and on the inverted Vee andtuned up on 7290. I will be checking in when I can and giving it a go so if you hear a PW with a military sound it could be me.(No3 carbon mic)

I scrapped the old amp and scabbed up a single 6l6EH linear for the PW. It appears to be working well so I will take a stab at it if conditions are good. If you hear a whisper, that will be me. All I want is a sig report. 7285 to 7290.

Been on everyday. Heard _ _ _ Does Not Transmit and the group several times but so far no joy. Also built a push pull linear (829B)which appears to pack a more significant punch. It is a little touchy on tuning but appears ok in tests but still no joy. Gonna keep trying.
