I am "reading the mail" up here on my beverage antenna. (Zero noise)I  heard you on 7214 and will follow during the afternoon as you work down if you do. Am running in that shack a PW AM rig, 14 watts out, carbon mic (Military #4)  feeding a base loaded vertical and listening on a dx160  radio shack recvr. Will try from time to time when you ask "Any AM Stations?" That little tiny signal is me. 
BTW your DX60 is doing a fine job driving the Alpha. I have a DX60 upstairs but it runs barefoot. Anyway if you hear a tiny squeak, rub on the Collins rx hard. T'will be me
