Howdy Friends,
Jim the scrounge is trying to restore his Globe King 500, and it is missing a power transformer in the RF deck, which mainly supplies screen voltage for the 4-400.
Here are the specs as best I can determine, as the parts list just says T2.
- 115 VAC primary
- 5V at 2A for a 5Y3 rectifier
- 6.3V at 2.5A for filaments for four tubes, including a 6146.
- 800VCT at 0.1A for final amp screen (supplies 400VDC from 5Y3 rectifier)
- Mounting hole pattern looks to be 2-5/8" X 2-5/8
- Height less than 6"
- Wires come out of the bottom
This was a standard old black transformer with metal end bells. I will appreciate any help in finding a replacement. Anything close will be considered.
