What is the application of a 250Hy, 15mA choke?
As a matter of factor, in at least one application RCA used chokes like yours in their 1 KW AM rig.
My Westinghouse MW-2 speech amplifier/driver uses four 100 Henry chokes. Two are in the first voltage amplifier in the plate circuit and two are in the cathode circuit to drive a pair of 833A tubes. The voltage amplifier and cathode follower are (4) 807 yubes. It would be interesting to me if a side by side test were made, would the inductors produce a better audio waveform over an rc circuit? My guess would be that most pre 1940 BC transmitters would have uses inductors over RC circuits most of the time.
