Kind of a nice video on Ford's new tiny but powerful engine. I'm surprised there is anything more to squeeze out of traditional combustion engines.

When I realized this was old news I tried to delete the topic and couldn't. Oh well, like me, maybe some of you hadn't seen this. As long as the topic is here, how about a little more recent info. They somehow got 202 horsepower out of it:'

Yep.  Direct injection and small boost engines is the norm now.   I have been getting 650 to 750hp out of 4cyls or years now.  Its pretty common.  I just tuned one at 744hp and 720 lb ft of trq.  The customer drove it out 600 miles, then drove it home 600 miles and got 24mpg.  Not bad.
