Yeah, the chart was all lit up this morning.

There's a corn test lower in the band, good only for showing the band has a path to somewhere.

Not AM related but for the last 2 days around 00 GMT I have received QRSS signals from WA5DJJ on 28000750, in fact he is there now as I type.
Dave is running 22mW into a Butternut HF-6V vertical and my receive antenna is a half wave vertical at about 6M AGL.

That's amazing...I realize that QRSS is digital but do you ever get an audible Slow CW signal?  good stuff..

Signals are generally FSK with 5Hz shift and usually too weak to hear but can be decoded down to about 30dB below the noise.
This is Dave's signal this morning @ 0150 GMT - read the CW along the top line.

Lots of big sigs out of EU this morning and continuing. I'm currently working GW4EVX on 29050. Almost all sigs so far have been 59 and better.

I was late for the Sunday party; I was at a great hamfest all morning and early afternoon but from 4:00 PM to 4:36 PM did manage to snag on AM, PE2HHN, G0JXX, M1CTK, ON2WAC, OP7M, ON8WA, GW3TMP, and ON1ARF on roughly 29.01 to 29.015. Tower was fully nested so antenna was only up at 35 feet.

I went upstairs to make breakfast and heard you working Simon on the Atwater Kent 55 via the talking house transmitter fed by the board in the shack.

We might be able to make contact without backscatter. What do you have for an AMtenna?

Didn't hear much other than the British Isles today.  But the band seemed to be in good shape, starting to fall off slowly after 1600Z.

Hmmm, I was on 15 and 10 mobile today for several hours around 2-5 pm and didn't hear a peep on either band in the AM sections. Called on both bands but no takers.
