I picked up this link coupled tuner a few days ago. Looks like someone spent some time on this one. The link is positioned directly between the tank coils, and inside the link is another coil that goes to the SO-239 on the left. What would this be for?

The SO-239 on the right goes to the directional coupler, then through a series variable cap, and then to the link, but it is labeled as output. Huh Sure looks like the input to the tuner to me, unless the builder was thinking of it as the output from the TX?
