I just received this more detailed story on the life of Walt, W2DU (SK) in an ARRL mailing.

A lot of you may know his history pretty well but others may not.

Walt's son Rick, W8KHK just posted some great stories about his Dad in his earlier years over on "Reflections and other thoughts  by W2DU". 

Very interesting and some humorous stories!
