OK I did'nt get any responses to my previous post, maybe if I tell you I have been talking with WA3PUN and we are trying to set up a regular qso on 3705 I might get some interest.  I recently became aquainted with ED, he just happens to live close by and I am trying to get him more active again on am he seems to be interested.  So check us out you may hear us on.

Thanks
Steve

What time of day?  I can get on 75 after 4 PM but conditions are better after the sun sets and there's no thunder-boomers in the vicinity.

We were on last nite 9:30 to 11:00 is when I cut out to hit the sack. We had a few visitors Joe WA2PJP chimed in and as I was signing Kim KE3SX from potter county joined in.  We made another sked for Thursday nite at 9:30. Signal were strong all the way around even with the static crashes.

Heard you & Ed on 3.725 last night, Steve. Was on there testing earlier when Mike/W2NVR called me and we carried on for nearly an hour. As we were signing out, Ed called Mike and they were having a nice contact as I took a break. Came out later and heard you and Ed, but had to pull the switch and call it a night. That static had gotten quite loud and was taking out portions of your comments.

The night before, W3JN, WA2PJP, KE3SX and myself were on 3.715 for a while. So don't feel tied to a single frequency if one of you doesn't show or is late. Look around, call CQ. If the static is tolerable, chances are good someone is around. It's been pretty noisy here for the most part, but now and then we get a tolerable night.

Hello,
The freq. 3705 is often lsb (splattering) from D-stations on 3703 khz.
Better for us, you use for example 3707 or 3710 khz.

Greetings,

Henk, pe1mph, The Netherlands
