It's extremely rare that I wear a hat. Which hat? I'll be sure to get rid of it if it's that bad.

Back to the amp, if it were mine I would run as high a plate voltage as possible and do it like the Elenco Commander. Just strip it and redo it clean with a few upgrades where necessary! - and show us the pictures!

That/those (woodland or ACU) are left over from military service, now only used in scorching sun, pouring rain, or when thinking about getting the most out of a 4-1000.
