I just got a deal on three of these tubes. I know a few people on the board have used them. I was thinking about using all of them in an amp for am and ssb. The first thing that comes to mind is how much drive they will take. Is a 100 watts of am or ssb too much. I have a supply that is good for 3kv @ 6amps which should be over kill. I have read the specs on the tube and I didn't see any drive requirements.

100 watts of drive is not too much.

3 KV is where things start to work. A few hundred more would be nice to allow the thing to make power with less grid current.

They have a nice simple schematic on there for a single tube amp, I'm sure with some small changes you could modify the design to work with all 3 in parallel.
