Hello Folks,

I have a friend that is a General Manager at an AM/FM Combo (WEEN/WLCT) in Lafayette, TN. We both like playing around with AM Radio.

What we have, Randy Swaffer of that station in Lafayette, TN has bought on eBay a CCA AM Modulation Monitor AMM-1T. When Randy got it, it had no manual to it. It came from WNAH-AM 1360 in Nashville, where the orignal engineer, Woody, is deceased. The current General Manager/Operator, Hoyt Carter, can not find the manual. We believe that Woody must have lost it, took it home to read, etc.

Anyhow, Randy does not have a manual. I have just about exhaused all sources of trying to help Randy find a manual to it. This is a Solid State Modulation Monitor, and my guess is that is was made in the late 60's or early 70's, about the time Belar came out with the AMM-1. I told Randy if we can't find one, put it back on eBay and try to get his money back out of it.

I am disabled, and I have posted "wanted" adds to fine the manual, and I have the time to leave Nashville, TN. area, where I live about 30 miles away from, to travel and get the manual for Randy if it is not too far of a trip drive.

I thought I would ask our Ham Radio Friends here for help. I look forward to hearing from you. I like the old radio gear too, but I don't mess with it much anymore due to my disability. Bob McGraw that lives in Sparta, TN (can't think of his call letters right off the top of my head) is one of our ham operator friends, so I hope he sees this.

Long Live AM Radio, some of of small operators don't think we need an FM Translator!
