This afternoon I met a gentleman that has some leftovers from his ham radio days (he stopped activity in 1958 and never renewed his license).

There are two plate transformers, one is a Thordarson, the other a Chicago Transformer.  The Thordarson has a 220V primary, secondary is 7000VCT rated at .4A.  The Chicago Transformer is a bit smaller with a 3500VCT secondary (could not read the primary voltage, but probably 220V).   Unfortunately could not read the model numbers on either due to age and grime.

He also has several boxes of old-style HV caps, etc.

Free for the taking in Havertown, PA.  You will need several strong men to muscle the VERY HEAVY transformers into your vehicle.  These are in his garage, so no stairs!!  If you look in the photos you will see some paint cans and a foot next to the xfmrs that will give you some idea of the size.

These need to be picked up quickly since he has sold his house and is cleaning out.

PM me if interested.
