Just worked Portugal on AM this morning.  Lots of fun. Strong signal.

5500+ miles short path Smiley  10 Over 9 signal into the HRO60.

Wooo hoo.  I sat there and called CQ for 20 minutes with nothing and then he came in.  Sometimes it pays off to put in some long CQ time.

Nice catch. Most of the 15 action lately has been USA only. Good to see some DX rolling in.

The band is open so some work in calling CQ can make it happen I guess.  I was very happy about that contact.  I put alot of time into that antenna and station so its nice to get some reward.

Probably try again tomorrow!
