If you are looking for just a modulation transformer - I'd talk to Hammond. Thry already make a big beefy single ended output transformer good for 100 Ma of DC current (the 125GSE) rated at 25 watts and it looks to be very conservatively rated  - it is big and heavy.

All they would have to do is wind on a push pull primary.

It would work great feeding a solid state amp in the secondary side and using the primary as  the transmitter side as it is.

They might be more likely to build one for sale if they had some requests and thought they could sell a few. They already have a Collins 600 ohm output transformer and an interstage tranformer for the Radiola.

They certainly have the technology as they have some real big iron High Fidelity SE transformers.

The terms "Heising" (constant current modulation scheme) and "Modulation Transformer" (not constant current modulation scheme) were being used together. That may have killed off the topic.
