That was posted by our Dennis, W7QHO, formerly of Maryland as WA3YXN.

I was surprised he didn't try to save the original air that was inside that wrapper.

Wellll, if it was packed with N2, the 'original air' would have been 'Oxygen Free'.

I don't know about FedWrex, but I'm sure United Parcel Smashers could have banjaxxed it. I recently sent an electronic subassembly to a fixit shop in Vancouver, BC from TX. Got an email from UPS -- "The box got there but the contents didn't". The component was 12" X 18" X 4" and professionally packed. Not sure how they managed that feat. I now try to avoid UPS at all cost. And the cost in this case was considerable. Moreso in downtime of my planetarium that in actual cost of the piece.

BTW, good luck collecting insurance from those crooks...
