There has been a tradition of a pretty good AM gathering after the Marlboro Flea on Saturday at around 12:00.

We have traditionally met at the Piccadilly Pub on Route 85 (right down the hill from the flea market) - however, that Piccadilly Pub is CLOSED!

Several of us who are familiar with the area called around, and found a place that actually sounds even better - they will give us our own room, and set up the tables, etc!!!

So, the AM gathering will take place at Welly's, right on Main Street in Marlboro (near to the flea market location):

Welly's Restaurant
153 Main Street
Marlboro, MA

Welly's is pretty much across the street from the City Hall - on Main Street, 1 street back from Route 20, and is easy to get to.  There is good parking, and the menu looks good!

We have a reservation, and the restaurant has my cell phone number.

The after-Marlboro AM lunch is ALWAYS a good time!  Bring your show-and-tell, as we have our own space.

Thanks, Steve, for taking the time and making the effort to find a suitable venue for the tradition to continue.  Food was food and reasonably priced.  Service was also good considering the number of boisterous codgers sitting around.  Did you ever find out who owns the jacket and car keys?

Marlborough has always been one of my "highlight" hamfests every year.  I always find lots of great stuff there and this year was no exception.  The company's always great and it's nice to see the usual suspects the first time after the Holidays.  Besides it's one 'Fester where I don't have anything official to do.

I am already looking forward to Marlborough 2013.

35 or 36, depending on what time you counted.  It was a great time!  There were a number of pictures taken (not by me).  If we could get those that would be great!  If having difficultly posting, feel free to email them to me and I'll photoshop and post.

A couple of them are REALLY funny  Cheesy

Steve, I didn't answer your entire question, did I.... I can't say how many went to the 'fest itself.  It was rather well attended, with two large, school-cafeteria sized rooms full of people.  My father-in-law used to run that fest when he was alive, but it's been a number of years.  Hundreds of people - how many hundreds is hard to say!

Someone left a COAT with some CAR KEYS in the pocket at the lunch.  I have this coat, and the restaurant knows this, and how to contact me.

So, if you are missing a coat with some car keys, please contact me!

Ya need to learn sign language, Steve. Or, at least, get an interpreter. Shocked
