The Glow of Wood and Radios

« on: February 05, 2012, 01:26:13 PM »

As with all projects, there were some things that didn't quite work out, however after 14 years of "just adding stuff" I reassemble the operation for a little better flow. The straw that broke the camel's back so to speak, was the addition if a Flex 1500...  The DX-100 will soon be replaced with a Valiant II, so there will be more clearance for cooling.

Steve,
Nice looking shack layout.

Isn't it amazing that adding one thing in the shack ultimately leads to a shack rebuild!

Maybe you can knock down a wall and enlarge the shack.  You can never have to much space for a Ham Shack!

Good luck.....

Looks good, Steve.   Now you need to trade in a couple of those 100 watt transmitters - (after all, how many do you really need  Grin ) - for a BIG rig and become a real strapper  Cool

Nice work, Steve. You know the stuff is gaining on you when you need to build vertically!
