I've used this radio in my workshop to listen to the AM broadcast and ham bands, but it's taking up too much room and I'm ready to launch it. The radio is in working condition, but it's really ratty and it's missing a few parts. Here are the specifix:
The S-meter, dial windows and associated hardware are missing, the front panel paint is hopelessly worn as is usual for these radios, the cabinet paint is a mess (all discolored and scratched to hell, but no dents), and someone (not me, honest!) opened up the BFO can with what appears to have been a can opener and peeled back the top part way. But wait, there's more! All of the knobs are there, but the main tuning knob is white instead of black; it's the correct style, though. This radio is from my personal collection and is one of the nicest I've seen. It's definitely eye candy for the visually impaired. I'd have taken photos, but my red drape is at the cleaners.
You can use the radio as-is, part it out, or put it out of its misery. Come on up to Sussex County, NJ and I'll trade you the radio for a $20 bill. I'd prefer not to ship it, because I don't want to be seen out in public with it.
