With all of the negative stuff regarding the 285/286 frequency, is there an alternative that others are using? I would like to start meeting on Sundays for some AM hang time.
Help me fill in the blanks here.
Thanks.

I'm not sure what's negative about 14.286, but when that frequency is busy, you might try listening around 14.330/.335.

Okay, will do.
I was referring to some posts about "ownership" of those frequencies. I try to avoid frequency skirmishes.
I imagine the non AM crowd doesn't share out philosophy about the first come first serve model.
Thanks for the post. Because I reside on the West coast, I will have try for mid morning and see how the band plays out. I hope to work you guys there.
