I talked to Jim - N7JW for while late this afternoon. Jim used to be on 75 meter AM quite a bit back in the 80's and 90's when he lived in Las Vegas. He had a big horizontal array up for that band and he ran a Desk KW. Needless to say, he strapped to the east coast.

Jim is also a big DXer and has some huge arrays up for 160 and 80 meters at a remote site many miles from civilization.

Check out his website at http://www.wilsonelectronics.com/n7jw/n7jw.htm

I'm still using his Wilson System 1 tri-bander. Still going strong after 33 years.
