Heard 5-6 QSO in the 29.0 to 29.1 range at one point this afternoon. Just ended a nice hour long QSO with AE8O in New Mexico. His signal held steady at S9 to 10 db over for the entire time.

Worked into denver The guy had a Knightkit T60...and heard a station in Dallas .....but the band had that slow windshield wiper QSB that made sigs run from S2 to S9+20.....Not a lot heard in the Pacific NW today...

No wonder you're such a big mawl these days. Nothing like a well-hung homebrew antenna!

In the clear overlooking a pond - what's not for an antenna to like?   Wink

Use an "AM Courtesy Filter" to limit transmit audio bandwidth  +-4.5 KHz, +-6.0 KHz or +-8.0 KHz when needed.  Easily done in DSP.

Gotta do something to keep up with the guys with the really big antennas. Gonna have the pond dredged to obtain even greater heights.

11/26 9 AM - I've been listening to Chuck K1KW in QSO with Scottish station GM4ULS on 29.000 AM.  Now hearing prominent echo on Chuck's audio.
