Well that was a very fun contact I just made with Aldo mobiling around in Italy.  He said he has a 3 element yagi mounted on the roof of his vehicle!!

This 10 meter business is becoming more and more fuN!

Very cool! I'm hearing a very strong Italian station on 29020 or so.

Working HB9ASQ right now on 29010. Nice audio!

Probably was I0OOZ. I was working him around that time. Also had some good contacts into Bulgaria and Poland.

Wonder if you heard the wide hash/trash when HB9ASQ was transmitting? It varied in intensity but it appeared mainly on both of his sidebands. Occasionally, the hash/trash disappeared and was replaced with what sounded like running water in the background. When he would turn it back to you, the hash/trash would disappeared. When I first saw the signal on the Flex screen, I thought it was an FM signal, since it appeared to be almost 19 KHz wide. When I worked him several days ago, I didn't hear any of that. Strange stuff on 10 meters.

I did hear that wierd FMing signal. It was taking out Bob for a time. I thought it was local, but then he mentioned it was interfering with me.

I heard you break in but did not get your call. I may have been able to copy though.

I too just worked Aldo, IW5EKR / Mobile. His signal was marginal, but popped to an S7 at times.

Also had long QSO with Timtron yesterday. The 10 meter band is happening again!
