Ron, W6OM in Irvine, CA and I have had a few great QSOs on 10 meters over the last few weeks.  He is a class-act and a great guy to chat with.  He was reaching my location and NC-300 this afternoon with a 50 db over 9 signal.  He also runs a Viking II on 10 meters.  He is rockbound at the moment on 29.040.  If  you haven't worked him, try giving him a call there when you and he are both in daylight!
