Hi all, I have a nice B & W 5100 (maybe) that needs a new home. First, the unit: Very nice front panel, good dent free cabinet. Produces normal power of 100+ w  AM, 130 w on CW. Very nice condition overall. Now, the rest of the story. I recently obtained this unit from a friend in Delaware and he got it from another non-ham friend who was cleaning out a storage locker that apparently wasn’t looked into in maybe 35 years. This locker was in south east PA, near the B&W factory in Bristol. This unit has all the markings of a 5100, but the wiring and some circuitry is not a 5100, nor a 5100B, it looks to be somewhere in between. I think this was a preproduction unit between the early 5100 and the later 5100B models, some engineer/tech at B&W probably made this unit – the under chassis wiring is very neat and nicely cabled like no other 5100 I have ever seen. Pickup only in northern NJ, or will meet within reasonable distance.  $350 firm.   73 de Don, W2DL  Call me at 908 362 8502
