Maybe not the first, although I'm not aware of any others, but certainly my first this cycle, except for a sporadic E QSO a couple of years ago. Brad was 57 and sounding great with his 130 watts and vertical antenna.
More tomorrow, I hope. will be checking 29.000 from 12:00 utc.

John:

Great working you today on 10. I heard an Italian station about 20 minutes after working you also calling on 29.000, but he was very weak and readability two to a three to me. He quickly faded.

F-layer condx are improving, so I'm hoping for more across the pond contacts on 10 AM in the upcoming months. Let's hope solar number can cooperate!!!

Hi Brad, Great QSO yesterday. I'm not hopeful for today. The bands collapsed very suddenly last night and 18MHz up are dead this morning. has all the indications of a solar flare. Will check later thogh.
