Hi Guys,

 I think most know I picked up a CDC viker II and the owner instructed me about the factory
Relay system in it, my question is why do the relays stick what's the issue there..?

I haven't fired it up yet I'm cleaning tube sockets checking wiring..Playen around.. Smiley

Could it be residual magnetism in the relay core?  If so, a piece of teflon tape stuck on the relay core will keep it away from the armature enough so it doesn't stick (as much maybe)

Reverse the leads on the relay this may kill the magnet.

Im not sure what you mean about relay "system" as there is just one PTT relay and associated 115VDC PS.  Since one set of contacts are in the 115VAC primary there is a good chance for pitted contacts that need to be redressed.

Carl has a point a pitted contact could make it stick so it may not be a magnetic problem.
