Does anyone remember who made a D-104 mic upgrade that had a round pc board with an electret element in the center with bass & treble controls that fit into the head of the mic?
It was a couple of years ago.
Thanks,

Use a 1k or so for phantom power from the battery to the electret.

There were two guys from Maine that I met at the Marlboro, MA fest...  they made a round board for the D-104 that's loaded with surface mount components to create a pretty effective bandpass filter/compressor/limiter etc.
If that's the board you're referring to I'm sure I can track down somebody who knows exactly who they are.
IIRC that board was in the $80 range.
