My arrangement certainly isn't furniture, but a couple of notes not mentioned by the others.  

I put casters on my bench so rear access is just a push away.   I also included extensions at the bottom rear of the legs so I could push the bench "against the wall" with no danger of crushing the AC cords.   I also use a "master" which in addition to reducing fire hazard, is great for allowing you to just hit the switch and walk away from a test setup, then return later and  pick up where you left off.

That is a beautiful and efficient setup. This is what I have in mind for modifying my console or "Furniture". Thanks for sharing.  Smiley
