Worked several stations (Wisconsin area) and heard several AM QSO's between 29.000 and 29.050 this evening between 9 and 10 PM EDT. Stations heard and worked all seem to be running 35 watts or less. I was only running 13 watts; tower was fully nested so beam was only about 35 feet up and fixed in a Northwest direction. Static crashes seem to be minimal.

It's Saturday nite 09:30 PM EDST and I'M chatting with HLR mountain on 29.000MHz.
A bit of choppy fade but doable!
