304-TH - Workin' it

Sort of.

Meet Wynona, born on May 5. Dad is a Paint, mom is an Arab.
If she would have been a boy, the name would have been "Cinco".

I expect to be breaking another arm in 4 years.

We had an infrared camera in the stall when she was born.

She is a beauty!
My neighbor just rescued a little one  that came out of a local Indian owned horse that was on the way to the slaughter house.  They didn't realize that she was pregnant.   I am not sure about the birth process and probably am better off  not knowing. My two horses are fascinated by the little creature.

John- 11 months gestation and the baby pops out front hooves first, then rest of the front legs and then the head. Standing up to nurse after an hour.

I enjoyed watching the renewal of life.
