I just starting painting the cabinet of the Ranger. I found some where in my search that kona brown paint from Rust-Oleum was a good match to the Ranger color. Indeed for the cabinet it is an excellent match. Gloss kona brown at Home-Depot p/n 249102 does a great job.  Smiley

Not sure what I will do for the front panel and the outside chassis. If I cannot do a complete tear down- than no doubt the paint job will appear poor. Comments?

Tnx, W4AMV

Back in 2001, I used Dupli-Color auto spray "DSGM 353 DARK RED M". It looks factory correct. I don't know if it's still available.

Thanks Dave. I was going to investigate auto body paints that are available off the shelf. So your input is very welcome. The others I found were GM-1994-1997 Dark Red Code 8529 and Plasti-Kote GM 7191 auto paint. I'll see what I can find. Tnx again!
