Glad to hear your schreamin' and kickin' Frank.
-I hope it's not too bad a repeat of your previous ailment.
We were all kind of worried, to say the least.

   Frank,

Carol called me on the land line this AM however I was unable to pick
up so the call went to voice mail...

I assume she left for the hospital as when I returned the call, it too
   went to VM.

As Buddly said, your seat around the WFD table is always reserved...

Expect to hear you at least on the Friday session and if necessary,
we can establish a slot above 3800 for Carol, pushes come to shoves...

   Later, Frank, take care

Thanks, Joe for being the interface.

Paul,
That's what friends are for. Your inquiry and help is also much appreciated by Frank and Carol!

The posts and prayers that everyone here has made are most appreciated. It's really great to see that people really do care!

Hello Everyone,
I spoke to Frank in the hospital early this afternoon and he sounds terrific! I could hear it in his voice. He has a good attitude and can't wait to get out of where he is at and finally go home.

Regarding the details, I'll save that for Frank to post at a later time. He had a procedure that he is still recovering from, and hopefully will be able to go home within a few days.

Your concern is greatly appreciated!

Best Regards,

Gee Frank, I hope I didn't push you over the edge with our fine P&M over the weekend. On a lighter note my two kids made 6 pounds of meatballs Sunday by themselves and did a good job. My Son finished the last three this morning.
I think they are trained.

Procedure......that sounds weird.
Well anyway....... I assume the doc had a steady hand and your voice didn't go up an octave.
Propagate on home so we can hear the 4X1 with you at the mike.

   Hello All...

Frank is home and active on the lower area of 80 meters (3700-3733 or so).

He arrived home about 4:00 pm this afternoon and was on the WFD group
freq. (3733) at 5:00 pm  sounding normally fat & sassy and was releaced to
   return to work on Monday.

He should be on tomorrow evening around 5:00 pm eastern on 3733 (WFD)...

Hello to all of you out there, and most important THANK YOU ALL FOR CARING! ! ! !
God bless you all and I love you all! Once again the support was heartwarming and also overwelming! Many thanks to all of you for your care and support, I cant say it enough. Thank God I am home and now settled back in. (And greatful to be here!)

Here is how it all went down:
last Sunday morning, I didnt feel very good all day. I was somewhat nauseated and getting worse as the day progressed on. I played it off, just assuming that it was "one of those stomach bugs" that has been going around. Next thing I new I had blood exploding out of both ends. When this happened, I knew I was in deep shit and had to do something quickly. I told Carol to get on the phone and "911 my ass out of here" quickly. (remembering what happened last year)

At the E/r they pumped my stomach out (that is seriously miserable) to stop the vomiting and summoned my GI specialist who comfirmed my suspicions, I was having an instant replay of last year. He performed an emergency endoscopy and told me that several of my esophageal varices (esophageal hemmrhoids) had blown out. This time he "banded" a bunch of them to stop the bleeding, and put me on bedrest for a few days. I have to schedule another visit in 2 weeks to get the rest of them banded. I do full well plan to rip him a new one with "why didn't you do that the last time??

The esophageal varices are varicose veins in one's esophagus (henceforth Esophageal hemmrhoids) and mine are caused by my liver disease. (I have a type of cirrhosis refered to as "NASH")

The one post I put in this thread earlier, I have to thank and was happy to see Paul, WA3VJB who stopped in for a visit and found that we had WI-FI there. But between the odd keyboard on his laptop, and my fingers all taped up with pulse-ox sensors and IVs stuck in my hands typing was extremely difficult, so I kept it short, just to let everyone know I was still kickin.

Once again I cant say enough, thank you all for your well-wishes and support!!
I love you all!!
