Does anyone here have one? I have a friend who does and has troubles. Together we've spent a couple Saturdays trying to figure it out, and its frustrating. That transmitter is designed like a receiver, so many conversions, so many LOs, and even a tube 'synthesizer' (not a PLL though).

Here's a thread from several months ago on the B&W6100. Several claimed ownership of one.

John,

I have attached the owners list of those that have 6100's.  It was compiled by Jim, W8KGI and is accurate as of November of last year.  Maybe someone on the list that is close to you could give a hand.

Regards,
Joe, W3GMS

Thanks!
Friend contacted Jim Hanlon, who is quite busy right now. He's just down the road.

What is your problem with it? I picked mine up in Nov 2010. Its in excellent condition and the only problem I had with it was no output power. It was the ceramic pass thru which brought the plate voltage to the finals was dirty and loose and a good cleaning and it had full output and was spot on.
