With regard to the Gates BC-5B modulation transformer and the matching modulation reactor offered recently on e-Bay; the previous auction apparently had no bids. As such, the seller has dropped the asking price for these two items significantly, from $1000.00 in the previous auction, to now $250.00.
Seems to me to be a really good price for 5000 watt-class modulation iron.
