Hi Bill,

After that video went viral , it appears that he has been offered full-time announcing work and a home by a local sports team.

Thank goodness. He seems like a good man who fell on some very hard times, and needed a break. Fortunately, there are decent folks out there who were willing give him the life-changing break he needed and deserved.

73,

Bruce

Yes Bruce, I was glad to hear that. I think the Man Upstairs was watching out for him.
Both the NBA and NFL films want to hire him.

I saw the story with his 'cleaned up' photo comparison posted.

Nice to see a story with a happy ending. Sounds like the guy has gotten his life straightened out.

How could one have a dry eye after hearing his story.
Clearly the big guy upstairs was looking out for this gentleman.
Amazing fellow, and the story of redemption and reconsiliation is as heart warming as it can get. I do wish him well, it will be worth following this story.

It's so nice to get a news story not full of doom and gloom!
Great way to start off the year, and kudos to social media for bringing that to the masses.

A great story and maybe an awakening for others who are having a bumpy road in their life.
UN believable voice
The CBS was very good.
On the Today show Today!

One piece showed him in a room full of head hunters making deals to have him in their broadcast booth. Many offers of employment.
