So the water spouting from the top is the 'element"? The salt water is a great conductor!!!
I guess for 160M the water spouty would have to be 240 feet tall?

...And don't take a leak on the third rail.

Wait a minute! Would that work as well as sea water as an antenna??

Has the HLR lab researched this yet?

Can I get a government grant to study the idea?

lol, about half way thru the vid while he's making a contact to his buddy (over a repeater), his friend reports back a strong signal. HELLO, it's the repeater thats pegging your needle pal.

Must be a 2m operators thing in the sense that they completely and universally lack fundamental radio skills. I hear it here all the time. You'll hear them all reporting back full scale signal's to each other.

Losing a grasp on the english language seems to be another trait. Everytime I hear the word "destinated", I want to stick a hot slobbering iron in my ear.  Grin

Your smarter then that.. His radio has to hit the repeater strong. Or any inbound static or faint signal is just repeated out.

Neat idea.  The Enclosed tube idea makes no sense to me.  Why not just have a whip?    The model that shoots water out does actualy make sense and will probably be used for emergency and ships.

-good one.

But it really is a neat combination of a current probe, flowing charged-ion passage and antenna dimension fundementals (npi).   I like the stacking donuts concept too.

Who will be the fist to come out with a good PC IC/fluidics  multiple stream height controller...- a "fluidetic regulator" ?

Would be good for those nasty CCR's in gated communities.

"Honey, wait 'till the neighbors see our new fountain.  Neptune and the porpii. Look at those multiple squirts.."    Hey, you could do FM by modulating the stream height?

But don't tell the wifey what it really is.  She won't be able to keep the secret at the next coffee klatch.

After the gossip spreads you'll become even wierder and more green toothed than ever in the eyes of the neighborhood.

How does the velocity of the water affect the resonant length of the antenna?Huh?? Hmmmmmmmmmmm, sounds like one of those physics 101 problems.
