I hope you had fun!! 20M is so hit-and-miss with the present spot cycle.

A good time was had by all!

Stations I worked, on 14.286:

W6PSS   Dave, Mo.
W9AD     Dave, Il.
W0LS      Harry, Mn.
WJ6W     Dave, Ca.
KA9PVO   Jim, Il.
N7RKY     John, Billings, Mt.
NR5A       Jerry, Rapid City, S.D.
NI6Q       Brian, Santa Barbara, Ca.
WA9RPY   Lou, Scottsdale, Az.
KH6U       Doug, near Honululu, Hi
K2FW       Steve, Blue Anchor, NJ

20m is alive and well. What is needed is AM activity, the email sent around yesterday certainly drummed up a number of stations for an impromptu
coast to coast get together. I listened to for a while and heard other stations too, including a 7, 8, VE6... unfortunately I was unable to hear Ashtabula Bill W8VYZ.

So maybe we need to drum up some activity. European contacts should be easy if there is anyone listening on the calling frequency. I have worked SSB stations by calling on AM, just as I do on 75m. If you are zero beat they often don't realize you are on AM!
