Gang,

I am trying to locate an old Navy buddy Mike McKean former N3HJQ. We served in the USN and were both submarine radiomen... I lst track of him about 19 years ago and cannot locate him - can ANYONE Help me Huh By the way the Mike McKean in FL K!4PYY is not him.

I've used it with some success. A middle initial would help out a bit. There are a lot of Michael McKean's in there.

this says expired, last action in 2003, someone else owns the call now.

there are sites for re-uniting Coast Guard personnel, which I explored while looking for the URT-12 manual. I am sure Navy "find your buddies" sites exist. I'll ask a guy I know. He might know where to look.

I suggest you try http://www.military.com/. I've used them to find old Army buddies, and they have a separate section for each service.
