A buddy of mine is a Navy Chief currently on active duty in one of the less-pleasant parts of Afghanistan. A few weeks back, he got hold of me via Facebook looking for help with a dead 5kW FM station he'd been tapped to get back on the air.

The attached photo is a snippet of what I found on Facebook yesterday morning when I woke up. It's physically impossible to have a bad day after seeing something like that.

Having a crappy day/week/month/life? Know someone in uniform serving your country? Give them a hand. No gesture is too small. You'll be ten feet tall and bulletproof for the rest of the day, and then some.

Not blowing my own horn here, because most of my best understanding of RF engineering has come from you guys over the last decade or so I've been on AM.

Therefore, you guys all deserve a suck-proof day, too, so here you go!
