Recently got a CD with all the HR mags.  For those of you who have access, there is an interesting article on modulating a solid state amplifier by modifying an electronically regulated power supply. Author claims a wide frequency response (30 to 25,000 Hz).  The article is found on Page 50 of Feb 1970 issue.
