Yesterday, Dennis came by and Dropped off some parts I needed.  We went out to lunch, Then to the Electronic salvage yard.  Man what a place.  I got some switches and Type C termination caps. He got some BIG IRON!  We then went to the Studio. I got a full tour.

After that we took the truck up the BIG hill to the top of Southmountain.  I got a full tour of the transmitter sites.  Here are a few pictures of the trip. The Harris 35K was running right along!  The old Continental was really neat to see in action.

What a day!

Clark

Even more pics Smiley

I did not take pics of the studio. There where people around working and I did not want to disturb them. It was a really nice setup.  First class.

Thanks Dennis. I really enjoyed the trip!

We just had that new Nautel NV20 box delivered this Wednesday, will get to hooking it up come Monday.  Really amazing, weighs about 900 lbs and the size of a normal refrigerator, will do 20 kW with HD @ 100 megs, has over 72% power line-to-RF efficiency off the 208 3Ph!

It will be running on 89.5 for KBAQ-FMHD.  Mr. Turner had a good time, and sometimes I get a little jaded by all the big Watts up there.

Reality is good, I have fun. Cool
