Setup a personal weather station here in the shack.  It's been online for about a month but uploading to the net about 5 days now.  When I went to look at the conditions this morning on the net, my eyes popped out of my head. Notice the wind gust speed of 141mph. The shack is still standing.  Sometime during the last 24 hours the computer the weather station is interfaced to locked up.

Yeah it was pretty windy last night, but I don't think it was blowing at an F2.  Shocked

I know wind does accelerate around corners and such. Is your anemometer mounted up free and clear of everything else?

yeah, the anemometer is out in the open.  Some of the other readings were way out of kilter as well.  As best as I can determine the wacky readings coincide with the time the computer locked up and maybe attributed to the lockup.

Got home today to find around 12 inches snow.   I know that's pw compared to what fell on long island and elsewhere in the N.E.

First photo is my QTH before I got to work on clearing the driveway; second is out back at the base of the 75 m. vertical and 160 inverted L this afternoon.

Went to spend Christmas with my brother in N.C.  had a great time but forgot what it is like to travel this time of year  Shocked   There's no place like home for the holidays hi hi
