I'd not be comfy using the dishwasher on smt PCB stuff. there's no doubt it would b clean, but I'm not convinced it wouldn't leave some conductive residue behind. term to term wiring is a totally different animal than pcb's.
The Superdrive in it is totally zorched due to dirt, so I think I will try just putting the drive in there and then using the doggie dryer on that and see if I get a working drive. I'd rather douche it with some type of aerosol designed to douche pcb's.
dishwasher = great for dirty radios, Macintosh G5's, not so much.
