I had to reset all my knobs as someone took them off at one point. 

I started with the VFO.  I knew it was on as my Receiver could hear the beat,  Then I tuned each stage while watching the Type of dip I could get and the readout on the spec AN sitting on the floor. 

Once I got that done,  I watched the O scope. You can really see how the Air variable on the output can split the Freq. Its important that you get this right.  I like to use the antenna and not a dummy to load up. The reason is that I can see the reflected power jump up if I mistune it.

I tune the tuner with the Icom SS rig so I know its flat before I start.  I then made a chart that hangs on the wall for popular freqs.  Now if I change bands, Its simple to follow the chart and then touch it up.
