Actually they do Digital SSTV on 7.173 lsb .... with EasyPAL software.  It's really cool because you can get a perfect high definition picture on the air and transfered in a minute or two.  But it does wipe out 7.175, sorry OM.

Any alternate frequency?

we"re just out of the path I guess

I worked Bob K1OP near Boston on a TenTec Jumpin' Jupiter and he did real well at 25W. Got into the hobby in the 1960s and said it's been years since he worked AM. Actually had responded to my CQ using an incompatible mode, then figured out what was what and joined in.

Earlier talked to a station in Western Tennessee, on AM the first time with his brand new "Yah-zoo" FT-450.  Sounded okay, but on voice peaks the carrier dropped. KG4ISD John at Cramer, Tenn. Said he'd be back, also got a kick out of hearing AM.

Let's stay at it down low. Folks who run across us seem to enjoy it.
