I got the urge to add a SoftRock IF to my otherwise useless Kenwood 430S.

When I look at the schematics in the manual, my eyes glaze over and I take my sheep for a walk.

Can anyone point to where I can pick up the IF output for the SR?

Thanks,

How about ahead of the 8.83 crystal filter diode switch.

I have one set up. Buffered it with an emitter follower into some mini-coax out to the SR plugged into a usb port. Bought an xtal for the 40m softrock too.

If you dont find what you need I'll see if I can find the schematic, or pop the lid and take a look at what I did, need to anyway cause the rig flips out once in a while on warm days.
