I have never heard of this site before, but it is packed with things that were cutting edge back in the era of vacuum tubes. (Yah, I know, most people here feel that era is still moving forward.) I have only explored a few pages, but it seems like an endless repository of curious stuff. Some of it is pretty funny, but I suspect that Derb will find the search function up in the upper left hand corner very amusing.

The lady in the picture looks EXACTLY like one pictured in the Ham Radio Schlitz ad, with her hairstyle, below-the-knee dress and dainty little apron.

disable all java and scripting when viewing the site. Wonderful site!

I copied that warning and forwarded it to the site contact for their consideration. They could be infected and not know it. That is a very common occurrence today. Hackers constantly try to get in here, and I have tracked a few back and found them. Often they have broken into a legitimate system and use it as a forward base from which to work. Notifying the owners of that compromised system usually triggers a review of the accounts and they clean it up if they find it. But you almost have to hand it to them on a platter.

Just an update on Tom's warning regarding the site. I submitted the URL to a security forum I belong to and participants there could find no current link to the kuzia threat at the sitesupports.cn domain. However, it was suggested that it is very possible that one or more of the random side panel advertisers was linked to sitesupports, which would explain why Tom's software picked it up.

An unwise visit to sitesupports.cn would result in a script attempt to load an infected file called readme.pdf (which actually no longer resides on the sitesupports.cn server). The actual DRB site itself poses no threat, but if your browser settings allow scripts to execute, it would be unwise to click away on the advertisements, no matter how pretty they may be.
